General description

Graffiti techniques and tricks have grown tremendously over the years, we will tell you about the beginnings of the street art movement and how street artists used varied techniques to bring street art painting to where it is today. Our bike tour is through the southern area of the city, led by our expert guides who will take you through the streets of Buenos Aires to enjoy the current street art, discover colorful and eccentric walls in an open-air museum.

Main points of the tour:

  • Madero Harbour.

Here we will visit some of the three-dimensional and more recent graffiti that were made in the city. Great spot for taking pictures!

  • La Boca.

We will bike through the streets of this neighborhood that has become one of the perfect places to find all kind of street art. Artists from Argentina and around the world have been working in walls with different techniques (aerosol spray, paint or stenciling) and original designs.

  • Barracas

Through the streets of this district, we will see the popular forms of expression, encouraged by the city government or by anonymous people; many of these murals that were created by street artists contain subject matter that is tied to political and social movements. We will also show you the biggest mural in the world painted by an Argentine artist.

  • San Telmo

We will ride through some streets to see more incredible designs in the oldest neighborhood of the city which reveals the untrammeled creativity of the capital’s graffiti artists.

  • Return to our Meeting Point: San Martín Square.

We provide bycicles, helmets, medical assistance, a bottle of water and knowledgeable English-speaking guides with proven experience. In case of rain, we provide you with rain gear and the tour is only canceled if it rains heavily. Child seats available. In our tours all ages are welcome.
