General description

Let’s delve together into the history of our city so we can give you a brief review of the most important events that we will be developing through the tour. This bike tour is ideal for those who want to know thw most exclusive neighborhoods of the city, the most beautiful parks and squares loved by tourists and locals and a unique cementery that is part of the cultural and historical heritage of Buenos Aires.

Main points of the tour:

  • General San Martin Monument at San Martin Square.

This is our meeting point, where we will try the bicycles and helmets. This historic square has been the scenario of great historical events; it housed the old bullring and was the place where the national regiment that liberated Argentina, Chile and Peru was formed. The monument to The General San Martin (Pater Patriae our Father of the Fatherland) is located in one of the central neighborhoods of Buenos Aires, where you may also find the old English train station.

  • Malvinas Soldiers Memorial and Monumental Tower.

Going down from the top of the square, we are going to tell you about the only war that Argentina went through in the 20th century. Find the war memorial and also know the reasons for its location and the history of the Tower that England gave us.

  • Florales Genérica and Law School.

We will pedal along the bike path to the most famous modern sculpture in the city and the most famous flower of Buenos Aires “Floralis Genérica” and take a few minutes to take pictures. You will be also delighted by the imposing building of the Law School.

  • Barrio Parque and Malba Museum.

Heading to Palermo, enjoy the most exclusive district in the city. We will ride through its streets and take a look at the amazing mansions, tall trees and quiet atmosphere of this place. We will also see the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (in Spanish: MALBA)

  • Galileo Galilei Planetarium.

Right in the very heart of the “Palermo Woods” there is one of the nicest buildings due to its shape and its privileged location next to the lakes. It is a perfect spot for taking pictures.

  • Rose Garden.

We will take a 15 minutes break at this beautiful square to walk among its gardens and flowers. It is the favorite park for locals and highly visited on weekends. Only closed on Mondays, rainy days or after storms.

  • The Monument to the Carta Magna and Four Regions of Argentina.

After leaving the parks we will stop by one of the most famous monuments in our city. Be amused by its fascinating story. We will tell you how and when we received this unique present.

  • Eva Perón Monument.

We will take some minutes to tell you about the story behind the most popular woman in our history, her life and death as well as her great legacy.

  • Alvear Square.

Our last stop is at this charming square, which captures the French essence of the great Recoleta neighborhood. Surrounded by the famous cemetery, the cultural center and some quaint cafes, it is worth visiting and learning about its history.
